When I connect a non-Forbright account via Plaid, does Forbright store my username and password?
No, Forbright Bank does not store your banking credentials for your external bank account. Your login information is encrypted by Plaid, a financial software provider that makes it easy to safely link your external bank account to other accounts, such as Growth Savings. Because Plaid encrypts your personal data, Forbright Bank is unable to see your login information. More than 12,000 financial institutions in the United States use Plaid software to securely connect to customers’ bank accounts.
