How do I connect my external bank account through online banking?

From your online banking or mobile banking dashboard, select Account from the main navigation. Next, select Manage External Accounts. From there, you have two options for how to add an external account, through instant verification or micro-deposits.

Instant verification uses Plaid, a widely used and secure financial software provider, to collect your banking credentials and verify your external account in minutes.

If you choose micro-deposits, you will input your account information including routing and account number, and we will make micro-deposits in your external bank account. You will then log back into the Forbright Bank app or online banking to verify the amounts of the deposits. Micro-deposits can take a few days to complete.
