Has Forbright Bank issued a Green Bond?

Yes, in December 2021, Forbright, Inc. (the parent company of Forbright Bank) issued its inaugural Green Bond in the amount of $125 million. As of September 2022, the net proceeds of Forbright’s 2021 Green Bond were entirely allocated to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and resulted in nearly 12,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions avoided.
