What are the branch locations and hours?

How do I switch to Forbright Bank as a branch customer?

First off, we’re so glad you’ve chosen to bank with Forbright! If you are interested in opening an account for one of our Branch-specific offerings, you can follow these instructions to get started:

  1. Open an account with one of our bankers. Visit one of our branches located in the Washington, D.C. metro area to set up your new account.
  2. Discontinue using your old account but keep it open. It can take up to two statement cycles for your outstanding checks and items to clear. In the meantime, turn off any automatic bill pay, destroy unused checks, deposit slips, and debit cards.
  3. Switch your direct deposits, automatic transactions or bill pay to Forbright Bank. Any existing automatic payments can be updated using your new checking account information with Forbright Bank.
  4. Close your old account. Once you’ve ensured that all your funds have been successfully transferred and all automatic transactions are switched to your Forbright Bank account, you can use our Personal Banking Switch Kit to authorize the closure of your old account.

How do I activate my debit card?

Once you have received your debit card in the mail, you can call us via our automated banking system at 855-354-9933 and press option 6. You’ll need to call from the phone number that’s associated with your account and have your card number and PIN available.

How do I order checks?

You can order checks via online banking or by contacting your local branch.

How do I increase my limit?

You can reach out to your local branch, where they are able to request the increase.

How do I place a stop payment?

Stop payments may be placed online or by contacting your local branch.

What is the routing number for Forbright Bank branch customers?

At Forbright Bank, we have two routing numbers. The one you will use depends on your relationship with Forbright Bank:

How do I find my branch banking routing number?
