What happens to a Growth CD after it matures?
Before your Growth CD matures, we’ll send you a maturity notice via email. The notice will include the maturity date on your Growth CD account.
You have the option to:
- Do nothing, and your CD will be rolled over to the same term.
- Or, close your CD without penalty during the 10-day grace period.
- Or, partially withdraw funds, assuming what remains is greater than $1,000.
- If you have a Growth Savings account, you may also deposit funds from your Growth CD to your Growth Savings by contacting our Customer Care team at 1-800-550-0159.
The interest rate and annual percentage yield applied for your renewed Growth CD will be what is currently offered based on the day your CD matures.
