Why is my CD being migrated to a new digital banking system?
Starting in Spring 2025, Forbright Bank will migrate the vast majority of our CD customers to a new digital banking system designed to offer you enhanced features, rigorous security, and access to all your Forbright Bank digital account(s) in one place. Please rest assured that your CD’s interest rate and maturity date will remain unchanged.
Here’s what’s changing:
- Account name: After the migration, your existing CD will be renamed Growth CD, which comes with enhanced features, security, and access to all your Forbright Bank digital account(s).
- Account number: Your existing CD will receive a new account number after your account is migrated.
- Routing number: The routing number for your CD account(s) will change to 055003612.
- Monthly statements: You’ll be able to access your statements at the end of the monthly interest posting cycle, which is based on the date you opened your CD. Your Growth CD statement will include the name of the primary owner and joint owner (if applicable) of the account, but it will no longer include the names of beneficiaries.
- Digital banking: You’ll access your account on our new digital banking platform and will receive a login link and instructions when your account is migrated.
- One login for Growth Savings and Growth CD: We heard your requests for a single login. It will be easier than ever to manage Growth Savings and Growth CD accounts from the same online and mobile banking dashboard.
