Overview: Supporting the development of sustainable real estate, Forbright provided financing to develop a new, LEED Gold-certified, AC by Marriott hotel in downtown Seattle, WA.
The Approach:
- Thanks to Forbright Bank’s deep understanding of sustainable commercial buildings, our team provided a $46 million construction loan to RevPAR Development and Titan Management to construct a new LEED Gold-certified hotel.
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold is the second-highest level of LEED certification based on a Green Business Certification Inc. review process, which addresses carbon emissions and sustainable practices.
Result:
200 hotel rooms will be built using sustainable design principles to conserve resources and minimize their carbon footprint.
